Steven Rogers

Contributing and Book Editor

Steven Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Saint Louis University. Steven studies American elections, and his current book project - based on his award winning dissertation - addresses the question: do elections hold state legislators accountable for their own performance

In addition to his research on state legislative elections, Rogers’ published work also investigates the accuracy of polling methodologies and the responsiveness of Congressional elections.

Steven received Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees from The George Washington University in 2007 and 2008. In 2013, Steven received his PhD in Politics from Princeton University. Prior to his doctoral work, Steven worked for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee and served as an intern for the United Kingdom Parliament, US Congress, and the John Kerry for President Campaign. Outside of his interest in politics, Steven is a passionate college basketball fan, and as a hobby, he runs Billikens.com – the main fan site for Saint Louis University men’s basketball.
