Amid Hillary Clinton's rising numbers, House Democrats have also benefited from a small string of favorable developments. This week's primaries in NV-03 and NV-04 couldn't have turned out much better for the DCCC, which got pretty much all the candidates it wanted. And although Republicans are still a solid bet to keep the House, several GOP incumbents continue to be their own worst enemies. In the open NV-03 seat, Democrats' favored candidate, software developer Jacky Rosen, easily won her primary while Republicans nominated businessman Danny Tarkanian, a perennial loser. It's a Toss Up, but Rosen has upside. NV-04, Harry Reid-backed state Sen. Ruben Kihuen easily beat Bernie Sanders-backed Lucy Flores for the Democratic nomination and is the clear favorite to defeat GOP Rep. Cresent Hardy in the fall. Meanwhile, in Virginia, state Sen. Don McEachin effectively clinched the court-redrawn VA-04 seat by dominating the Democratic primary and will become the second African-American member from Virginia.
