House Editor David Wasserman writes: Lexington and the 6th CD were home to one of the closest contests in the nation in 2010, as Democratic Rep. Ben Chandler hung on by just 647 votes. Lexington is still celebrating its national champion University of Kentucky basketball squad, but Chandler's rematch looks somewhat less competitive this time. With less than a month to go before Kentucky's May 22 primary, the big game in town isn't in Louisville or Lexington but rather in Northern Kentucky, where state Sen. Alicia Webb-Edgington, Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore and Lewis County Judge-Executive Thomas Massie are in close contention to succeed retiring GOP Rep. Geoff Davis, in the safely Republican 4th CD.
