With every week, the Republican nomination becomes more of a two-way contest between Vice President George Bush and Senate Minority Leader Robert Dole. The primary caveat at this stage for the other four candidates is the real possibility of Rev. Pat Robertson scoring an upset in the Iowa caucus and the confusion and division in the party that would result. Du Pont has moved a little in New Hampshire, but not really enough, and the Kemp camp hints it has some long bombs to throw in Iowa that could put Dole and Bush on the defensive, but those are possibilities rather than likelihoods.
