Elizabeth Wilner is Senior Vice President of Kantar Media Ad Intelligence with oversight of its Campaign Media Analysis Group (CMAG), Contributing Editor of The Cook Political Report, and former Political Director of NBC News. At CMAG, the nonpartisan authority on political and advocacy advertising, Wilner manages political clients such as presidential campaigns, party committees and super PACs, and also oversees the firm's portfolio of news media clients, which in 2012 included ABC News, Bloomberg News, CBS News, CNN, NPR and The New York Times. She also wrote a 2012 column on presidential campaign advertising for Advertising Age.
Business Development and Logistics
Ashton leads business development and communications for The Cook Political Report, a non-partisan political analysis publication. Additionally, Ashton oversees the marketing efforts and day to day operations of the publication.
Ally is the Web Editor for The Cook Political Report where she oversees cookpolitical.com. She handles publishing and content management as well as drafting and distributing the weekly newsletter. Ally also assists the editorial team with research and designing charts.

Michael Nelson, Rhodes College. Mike writes about the American presidency and presidential elections and has reviewed books frequently for publications ranging from the American Prospect to the Weekly Standard. He has won the American Political Science Association’s Richard E. Neustadt Award for best book on the presidency and executive politics in 2015 and the Southern Political Science Association’s V. O. Key Award for best book on southern politics in 2007.
